SBC has extensive experience implementing services in both the public and private sectors. We participate in the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Members of our organization have participated on the review panel of the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement Program. SBC is also active in the Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida and National Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers (NASACT), and the Association of Governmental Accountants (AGA). SBC audits over 20 counties, cities, or school districts and is the lead auditor for the State of Maryland’s CAFR and our team has collectively assisted in the audit of five states.
Members of SBC have testified to standard setter bodies and through the process have developed relationships with policy makers that allow us real time access to have discussions and deepen the core understanding of the literature.
